The caduceus which gives god/s the power to fly is used by Greek Hermes, Roman Mercury, Egyptian Anubis and Thoth (Taaut), the Assyrian Cybele, Celtic Hercules Ogmius, the Grecian Aphrodite, Demeter, Dionysus, Mars, Minerva, Pitho (Suada) and the personified constellation of Virgo.

According to Madame Blavatsky (S. D., I, 360) the original symbol figured a triple-headed serpent. Kirchen says the caduceus was originally in the form of a cross and invented by Thoth. A legend says they were the means of first discovering to Mercury the virtue of his wand as a peacemaker. Whilst on his travels, the god saw two snakes engaged in deadly combat and place his staff between them to end the fight. The magic wand so pacified their anger that they embraced one another and clung around it. Hence the caduceus became the symbol of peace. Instead of the flag of truce, one bore in their hand the caduceus or wand of peace and the person whilst holding it was considered sacred and inviolable. The caduceus was believed to have the power of paralyzing the mind, and also raising the dead. The Caduceus is one of the most ancient of all symbols. It is now recognized as a DNA structure whether the medical system is aware of this or not. Since Ancient Mesopotamia, the caduceus has represented two serpents intertwined (the central nervous system and kundalini energies) around a staff (the spinal column) with the "wings" (the engorged hemispheres of the brain) on either side with circle or pine cone representing the pineal gland in the brain, also known as the central or inner sun. Kundalini-DNA-Caduceus is related to Medusa, the triple Goddess.
